Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Amisfield Chenin Blanc 2018 would interest you.
Central Otago, New Zealand
Captivating Chenin Blanc
Although relatively rare in NZ, Amisfield have created a exceptional version helped along by a ledge of Lochar gravels.
Amisfield's Chenin Blanc is great with fish or a creamy chicken dish, but is exceptional with sweet and sour pork!
Rising up from Lake Dunstan to the Pisa range lies Amisfield farm - a station covering 200 hectares. Most of Amisfield's vines are down near the lake shore but it's the Chenin Blanc that looks over the rest of block sitting on a ledge of Lochar gravels. These gravels provide the mineral backbone for all the flavours of Amisfield's Chenin Blanc, which starts off are somewhat racy in the beginning with tangy fresh fruit of green apple and lemon then mellows out into a more luscious textural drop. Although Chenin Blanc is a rare grape in NZ, normally found in the Loire Valley of France or in the vineyards of South Africa, Amisfield have created a stunning kiwi contender.
