Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Escarpment The Edge Pinot Noir 2014 would interest you.
Martinborough, New Zealand
No risks experiencing this edge!
The Edge draws on the NZ’s & Escarpment’s geographical location for its name, being at The Edge of the world, and on The Edge of the Martinborough’s escarpment.
The Edge Pinot Noir is an extremely approachable Pinot crafted by the Prince of Pinot himself – Larry Mckenna. For its entry level status, it stills delivers a full bodied mouthful of dark cherries, bramble, liquorice, soft tannins and toasty oak characters. A spectacularly priced Pinot to send your tastebuds on an adventure to The Edge and back.
Living on the edge comes with many risks – so why not choose a wine experience that is anything but risky. The Edge from Escarpment is just such a wine experience, known to be extremely approachable early on in its life and a great buy. The no risk factor is generated partly because of the stunning 100% Martinborough fruit that goes into this wine, and partly because of ‘The Edge’s’ winemaker – The prince of Pinot, Larry McKenna.
The Edge was named as a simplified meaning of Escarpment, which just like the English language this wine follows suit. Like The Edge’s big brothers under the Escarpment labels, this Martinborough Pinot gets all the skills and expertise from the Escarpment camp, but delivers it in a softer easy drinking style. For the 2014 vintage The Edge delivers dark cherry, plum and rhubarb flavours to full up your mouth before the bramble and liquorice notes take over. Soft tannins and toasty oak characters continue throughout this entry level Escarpment Pinot, but it is one grand entrance your wallet will love you for.
