Check out this weekly wine wonder.....
This lush Pinot Gris from Kahurangi Estate hails from the ancient riverbeds of the Waimea plans in sunny Nelson. Neighbouring and giving name to the estate is NZ’s second largest national park Kahurangi. Walking through this spectacular park you can understand its two English translations of ‘treasured possession’ or ‘precious jewel’. This translation is also entirely appropriate to Kahurangi Estate, a boutique winery owned by the Day Family. One of Day’s treasured possessions in their portfolio is the mouth-watering Estate Pinot Gris, delivering delicious flavours of nashi pears and white peaches. Coincidently a brilliant addition to your picnic basket, when walking through the lush valleys, or on the golden beaches of Kahurangi National Park.
