Treated in the same manner as its single vineyard big brothers the Estate Chardonnay contains the best grape parcel from each vineyard. These premium grapes are pressed in bunches and fermented in barrel from natural yeasts found in the wineries atmosphere. The 2018 vintage was pretty much perfecto, for Kumeu River. The Estate Chardy is the winery's house drop and what a drop it is. Consistently one of the country’s best Chardonnay producers this liquid gold as not missed a beat for 2 decades achieving over 90points for every vintage. Easily one of the NZ’s best Chardonnay buys on the market the Estate serves as both a Chardonnay for now and the future, but be quick there wasn’t much made!
