Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Man O' War Bellerophon Syrah 2014 would interest you.
Waiheke Island, New Zealand
Waiheke's Demi-God reincarnated as a souped-up Syrah
Just as Bellerophon the greek god rode is horse with wings, Bellerophon (wine) as its own wings compared to its cellar mate. Think of Dreadnought but with lifted characters of Viognier (Bellerophon's wings)
As expected the reviews are generous, 5 Star Wine Orbit, 96/100 Bob Campbell and is real starter with the tastes of smoked red meat
Bellerophon the immortal demi-god of Waiheke Island. After the success of Dreadnought the team at Man O' War made a couple of tweaks to recipe by throwing in a splash of Viognier much like the Syrah's of Northern Rhone. The Bellerophon name came naturally as it was designated to the first ship of a new class of Dreadnought battleships and to the first blend of Syrah with Viognier at Man O' War vineyards. Like the winged horse Bellerophon rode, the Viognier addition as given the Syrah wings. Compared to the Dreadnought taste, Bellerophon is more elegant, richer and sweeter with a few more savoury characters.
