Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Man O' War Death Valley Malbec 2014 would interest you.
Waiheke Island, New Zealand
Death-defying hillside vineyard relinquishes a mesmerising Malbec
Man O' War's Malbec vines dig deep to hang on in there at the super steep Death Valley Vineyard - to your benefit!
Well matched to the rich red meat flavours from a BBQ grill or a roasting pan
As part of the privateer series Death Valley Malbec takes it's name from a single spectacular hillside vineyard from which the Malbec is grown. As with most of the 76 individual vineyards on Man O' War Estate the Death Valley Vineyard has mesmerising views, but its Death Valley's super steep gradient that makes this vineyard stand out. The vines dig deep to hang on in there and subsequently produce ripe and rich berries. After almost a year in French Oak (and a splash in American Oak) Death Valley Malbec emerges as a dark hued fragrant rich wine. Vibrant blackberry and boysenberry characters are first to lure in..followed by liquorice and spiced oak flavours all wrapped up in a long silky finish. Best paired with rich red meat flavours from the BBQ or the roasting pan
