Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Charles Orban Champagne Blanc De Noirs Brut NV would interest you.
Champagne, France
Gold, Gold from Champagne's black beauty's
250 year old vineyard produces a sensational award winning Champagne Blanc de Noirs (french for white wine from black grapes)
Charles Orban has created stunning Brut winning NZIWS gold in successive years toppling the big guys for quality at half their price. One of the best value Champagnes on the market!
Case of 6 ($52.90/bottle)
For over 250 years the Orban family have been growing Champagne grapes in the Marne Valley. So my guess is, they have it covered on how to grow Champagne. Out of the three grapes that are used to make Champagne the Marne Valley is well known for its Pinot Meunier grape. This is Charles Orban specialty, but he is allowed (french wine rules are pretty picky) to grow a small portion Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. As this Brut is a Blanc de Noirs, both red grapes are used with 60% of Meunier and 40% Pinot Noir going into the mix. And its pretty decent blend according to the NZ International Winehsow who awarded it Gold for the last years, outscoring some of the Champagne big labels. Not bad for considering it's one of the cheapest Champagne in the country!
