To bring everyone else up to speed, back in the 19th Century these lovers and dreamers would sit in the mountain grass on the hills of Southern France writing their poems. As it was such a perfect platform this luscious grass was eventually named Parnasse grass. It is this grass with its mountain flowers (as seen on the bottle) gave rise to this wine brand. True to its name this silky Syrah is made in true Parnasse style – laid back, dreamy, and much more of a lover than a fighter, thanks to winemakers Frederic Quermel and Hilde Chevillot.
