Or how about an Experience in....

Waipara, New Zealand
- A second label with first flavours providing outstanding value
- From the Waipara stable of Pegasus Bay, the Main Divide label that has enough attention grabbing characteristics as the mountain range it’s named after.
- Citrus and mineral acid flavours are dominant, as soon as you experience this wine, subsiding to the softer fruits of melon and peach after the wine mellows in your mouth. Evidence of the 18 months spent in old oak appears as buttered toast characteristics. But it is the backbone of mineral acid that defines this wine showing some serious hang time in the mouth. Ultimately this is a great value Chardonnay with great flavour complexity perfect to accompany dishes, like an apricot chicken or prawn salad.
- Case of 6 ($16.90/bottle)

In their mission to create New World Classics, Craggy Range blended a few vital ingredients to craft a serious Syrah fully worthy of this title. A simple method really - cultivate a Syrah 'Heritage' clone first brought to New Zealand 150 years ago, then plant it some of the best winegrowing soils in the land, and finally give the grape-berry rewards to a Master of Wine to see what he can rustle up. Boom you have the Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Syrah. And boom is what will happen in your mouth after the intense floral, dark berry, pepper and herb action in your nose. Big and rich, succulent cassis and plums flavours hit you in the mouth first, followed by characters of peppery cedar proving its a Syrah. This experience is finished by velvety tannins that lend themselves to be a great companion to a juicy vension steak on the BBQ.
