Kahurangi Dry Riesling 2016

Nelson, New Zealand
Fish - White fleshPork
  • Old Vine Riesling - classic characters, great value
  • Kahurangi Estate is proud to own some of the oldest Riesling vines in the South Island which generate some mouthwatering flavours for this wine.
  • Not much sugar in this one - its a classic dry aromatic with citrus, lime, and green apple characters perfect with that fresh snapper you just caught.
With some of the oldest Riesling vines in Nelson, Kahurangi Dry Riesling over delivers in character. Grown in Kahurangi's home vineyard in old school Moutere clay soil this wine keeps it fresh and dry. Kahurangi do a fantastic job of bringing there old vines to life to produce this delectable dry drop. Classic Riesling flavours shine through - citrus, lime and a bit green apple along with the minimal presence of sugar set up this wines character. Although it will slide down extremely well right now with pan fried  snapper fillet or pork sausages, there is 5-6 years worth of potential making it a great value option for your cellar.
