PNCRMRTPNO14

Pencarrow Pinot Noir 2014

Martinborough, New Zealand
  • Classic Pinot quaffer of great value!
  • Pencarrow Pinot Noir consistently delivers a high quality easy drinking drop that's has an added advantage of being easy on the wallet. Job done.. that was an easy choice.
  • The 2014 edition continues this Pinot's great run of consistent performance. Best experienced with Asian or Middle Eastern styled cuisine, or your classic kiwi lamb kebab on the BBQ.
Pencarrow for just under a decade now has been Palliser's Estate second label where Allan Johnson (winemaker) delivers an easy drinking style of Pinot. To create this supple style Allan looks to the younger vines on the Palliser Estate. However these vines are growing up - and starting produce more and more  complex flavours. All the better for us - as, although each year the Pencarrow Pinot Noir character develops another layer of complexity it doesn't develop another layer on the pricetag (ssshhh don't tell Allan). The 2014 Pinot is best summed up by the Pencarrow catch phrase - high quality wine at an affordable price! Great with a BBQ lamb kebab, or with Asian or Middle Eastern cuisine.

Black Cottage Rose 2017

Marlborough, New Zealand
  • Light but full of Gusto
  • Inspired by Mediterranean island wines of Corsica where Dave Clouston (winemaker) did a wee winemaking sabbatical. Crisp dry and full of flavour.
  • A great aperitif by itself, but is it great match with chicken salads, antipasto and seafood

Greenhough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Greenhough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Nelson, New Zealand
  • A Nelson Classic – a Sauvy with high Hope
  • This quiet little achiever from Hope just out of Nelson each year produces stunning textural Sauvy's that are amongst the best in the land.
  • Floral aromatics initiate you into Greenhough’s Sauvignon experience, unfolding to reveal fresh herbs, capsicum and pears. This assertive yet elegant Sauvy then fills your mouth with ripe tropical flavours of capsicum, gooseberry and melon, complemented by fresh herbs. Varying components begin to unravel the layers of this wine followed by a textural savouriness, a touch of spice, ending in a crisp dry finish.
