Rapaura Springs Classic Merlot 2016

Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
LambBBQ - Red Meats
  • Champion Merlot and sub $15 - whaaaat!
  • No its not a typo, the price friendly Rapaura Springs Classic Merlot 2016 pulled out a remarkable feat of picking up Champion Merlot at the 2019 Royal Easter Show Wine Awards.
  • Its not often you come across a cellarable quaffer but this is what they look like. For all you Merlot lovers, this is the dream buy!
  • Case of 6 (12.90/bottle)
Although no stranger to gold medals or trophies, you wouldn't really associate the Rapaura Springs winery with big Bordeaux reds. Champion Sauvy's and Gris's yes, but it seems the team have been quietly sitting on this gorgeous puppy for 3 years now, and have just released it to the world....and WOW what a stunner. So good, it took out the Merlot Trophy at the 2019 Royal Easter Show Wine Awards. Merlot's with this much punch normally sit around the $30 mark so at 13 smackeroos it 's got amazing value written all over's got to be a case buy. Plush, delicious and with a few more years left in the bottle - Rapaura Springs Merlot is one of those rare cellarable quaffers. Great with a lamb rack or a beef burger off the barbie.
RRP $15.99

Man O' War Pinque Rose 2018

Man O' War Pinque Rose 2018

Waiheke Island, New Zealand
  • Gorgeous by colour, gorgeous by taste!
  • The vibrant and refreshing Pinque is a alluring experience ideal with antipasto, tapas, or a picnic at the beach.
  • Made in a dry Provencal style, it is no surprize that the Man O War family found a Provencal merchant ship to name Pinque after, which happens to be so phonetically accurate.
RRP $29.99
Main Divide Pinot Gris 2015

Main Divide Pinot Gris 2015

Waipara, New Zealand
  • Mouth-watering Gris with a thoroughbred pedigree
  • Only a recent addition to the Main Divide cellar but what a wine to blast onto the Pinot Gris scene.
  • The ‘Main Divide’ of NZ’s South Island sets the backbone for the terroir of this wine. This backbone is emulated in the wine with its natural acidity providing a lengthy mineral backbone. Hanging off it are fruit flavours of peaches, guavas and spicy pear along with secondary characteristics of barrel fermentation, ageing all encompassed by a gorgeous swirl of mouth filling creamy texture.
