Sacred Hill Halo Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Marlborough, New Zealand
BBQ - White MeatsFishChicken
  • This Sauvy loves the good times and great food
  • Halo Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect match for so many foods off the summer barbie with exceptional flavours and great depth to compliment salads, seafood, chicken…
  • The Halo Sauvignon Blanc does well reflecting Marlborough starting with scented experience of welcoming citrus and tropical aromas teasing the taste buds. A great melody of tropical fruits and citrus doesn’t disappoint your expectations, but it’s the textural layers that really impress. This complexity never detracts for the simple beauty of ripe Marlborough fruit, but only boosts the experience with balanced acidity, and touches of lemongrass and green capsicum.
Halo Sauvignon Blanc is definitely a food loving Sauvy designed with ripe tropical fruit and layers of texture. As part of the Sacred Hill’s Halo collection, this wine benefits from Tony Bish’s winemaking talents, who promotes the premium small parcels of fruit to an outstanding wine experience. This Sauvignon Blanc emphasises the quality of the 2011 vintage for Marlborough’s signature grape, reflecting some of the best fruit ever seen from the region. The grapes represent Marlborough’s world renowned characters, harvested early to capture the intense varietal flavours balanced with just the right amount of acid. A slow cool ferment was sort to maintain the fruit flavours from the vine, and together with talented batch blending, the Sacred Hill team have crafted a scrumptious Sauvy.
