Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Marlborough, New Zealand
  • Best Sauvignon Blanc in the World!....
  • Best Sauvignon Blanc in the World!!...
  • I know, its bold statement to make but it's true... Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc 2017 was named Best in Show by the Decanter World Wide Awards 2018. This gave it the unique title of Best 50 Wines of the Show from over 16,000 wines
With over a 130 years in Awatere Valley its safe to say the Vavasour family are pretty familiar with region. It was with this knowledge that in 1986 Peter Vavasour pioneered winegrowing in the valley taking advantage of the deep greywacke soils and the Awatere River deposits. Although similar to the northern Wairau the Awatere Valley delivers its own unique brand of a Marlborough Sauvignon. Vavasour took this style to world and man did it grab their attention. Recognising this unique wine region's flavours along with huge talents of Stu Marfell and Alastair Maling MW, Decanter named it as 'Best 50 Wines of Show' from a choice of 16,903 wines! As you would expect the golds came thick and fast along with the 5 star reviews. Don't miss your opportunity to taste what is officially one of the Best Wines in the World!

Spy Valley Easy Tiger Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Spy Valley Easy Tiger Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Marlborough, New Zealand
  • Easy there Tiger!
  • Spy's Easy Tiger Sauvignon Blanc is a full blown Sauvy but without the full blown alcohol. Naturally crafted from the get go. Typical of any tiger this tiger roars - of character and unlike a lot of low alcohol drops out there, this light Sauvy isn't light on flavour.
  • Easy Tiger's personality is little crazy but it works, packed full of crisp green apple & passionfruit, but with a good dose of ginger, lime and zesty herbs. Of course as the name suggests its very easy to drink especially with mild Asian or light seafood.
RRP $19.99

  • Sauvy - but not as you know it
  • Te Mata's Cape Crest is indeed a Sauvignon Blanc with all the usual Sauvy hallmarks but with the added extra characters of barrel fermentation and ageing.
  • The perfect drop for those who are constantly asking the question... should I have Chardonnay or Sauvignon tonight?, Cape Crest is your answer!
