Thats when a young Algerian Paul Gonfrier packed up his family and moved Bordeaux for a better life. Over the last 50 years Paul and sons went through major restoration of the Marsan vineyard. Now the sons are running the show and have crafted a fantastic little Bordeaux blend of mostly Merlot at 70%, with rest being Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc. Red berries, black fruit and supple easy going tannins. The perfect drop for a glazed lamb ribs on the barbie followed by raspberry and chocolate tart.
