Harvested mostly from Spy’s original vineyard, the Johnson Estate produced some outstanding Gris grapes for the 2017 vintage The pressed juice was slow fermented in both oak & stainless tanks for complexity, with a portion being softened by malolactic fermentation. Stonefruit flavours of peach and nectarines are dominant but you might pick up the odd spiced apple and honeyed nougat characters.
