Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Starborough Pinot Gris 2016 would interest you.
Marlborough, New Zealand
Starborough's starry eyed PinotGris - 5 that is!
With 140 years of land knowledge and one of Marlborough's hot winemaking talents you can't go wrong with fruity Gris.
5 Stars from Sam Kim, Raymond Chan, and Marlborough Wine Show judging panel
With 140 years of land ownership the Jones family have a pretty good understanding of the 160 hectare Starborough estate. The farming operation diversified into vineyards in the early 1990's creating the Starborough label. While the viticultural reigns fall to 4th generation James Jones the creation of this great little Gris is down to another local lad Dave Clouston. Starborough's Pinot Gris is a 65%Wairau/35%Awatere mix of the two Marlborough valleys and is a bit of a fruit bomb with stonefruit and florals. Dave ferments a wee bit in old barrels with add to the texture of the wine along with the 5.6g/l of sugar they didn't let ferment. Just like Starborough's Sauvy this drop is bit of a star amoung the critics. Sam Kim, Raymond Chan, and Marlborough Wine Show judging panel all rated 5 stars.
