The dancing Dioynsus (Greek god of wine) on the Thornbury label gives you some idea of what your in for, with this Sauvy experience...Good times and Great fun!  Much like Thornbury's winemaker Si Fell who also loves odd party or two this Savuy loves to celebrate life and is crafted by grabbing the best flavours from both Marlborough Valleys. A bowl full of fruit and substance from the Wairau paired upp with finesse and minerality from the Awatere. A solid satisfying sauvy who is in it for the celebrations and the good times. It was these good times that impressed the judges at the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards so much they awarded it the Trophy and the bragging rights of being the best Sauvy in the group.
