Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Two Paddocks Pinot Noir 2022 would interest you.
Central Otago, New Zealand
Academy award winning Pinot Noir
Proprietor Sam Neill first started Two Paddocks to ensure a Pinot Noir was always available between sets, however thanks to this wine Two Paddocks has started to write it's own award winning movie.
Consistently one of Central's leading Pinot's, Two Paddocks flagship wine tells a story of blackcurrants, bramble, plums and spice, with plenty of subplots to keep you engaged to the end.
Case of 6 ($54.90/bottle)
Two Paddocks flagship started with started with actor Sam Neill's attempt to quench the thirst of his family and friends through a good Pinot Noir (which is a fantastic idea). So him and his mate Roger Donaldson (fellow film buff, but sits behind the camera) brought two paddocks (hence the name) next door to each other and planted a few acres in Pinot Noir. The first release of this wine was in 1997 and with every year since Sam's narrative for the wine as changed slightly. Believing this wine is now too good for his friends (a bit harsh I know..) Sam now leads a team with winemaker Dean Shaw to produce year after year "the world's best Pinot Noir". As the flagship Two Paddocks now employs grapes from four vineyards around the Central Otago region to tell a story of brambles, black currant, red plums and spice. The subplot will show you something new each time you taste .....structured complexity, polished texture, sexy tannins.... but the final scene will always having you leave the wine cinema thinking "that's got to be one New Zealand's best Pinot Noir's.
