Established by two generations of the Ham family Alpha Domus its time for the third generation to step up. Beatrix Ham (3rd gen) grew up at the watching the Merlot grapes of the Heretaunga Plains vineyard create gorgeous rose for the Alpha Domus label. It's from this long association Beatrix pursued a whimsical idea to sparkle up the Rose. Whoollah Beatrix Sparkling Rose was created, and what a refreshing creation is it is. As one of New Zealand's only Sparkling Merlot's this wine was always going to be a revolutionary but its damn tasty as well. Michael Cooper gave it a 4 star rating loving the berry bomb of strawberries and raspberries.
