CLRVBLUSH

Clearview Black Reef Blush Rose 2023

Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
LambPicnic
  • So good it will make you blush!
  • A Clearview cult classic is produced using the ultra rare (in NZ) Chambourcin grape to deliver an off dry mouthwatering Rose.
  • Black Reef Blush pulls together confectionary flavours of raspberry and blueberry with touches of quince cloves and subtle anise spectatcular with an deli meat antipasto followed by pan seared duck breast
  • Case of 6 ($21.90/bottle)
Clearview's iconic cult Rose - Black Reef Blush was once considered a local secret but the word got out, turning the delicious Rose into Clearview's biggest producing wine. Like a many other Clearview wines Black Reef Blush takes its name from the local Te Awanga coast, for this drop its a combo of Black Reef beach just south of the winery and Blush - to aptly describe the  wine's exquisite colour. Grown at the Clifton Bay Estate, the grape responsible for Blush's spectacular colour and vibrant characters is Chambourcin - a rare French red grape whose juice is actually red rather than white! The characterful Blush is brilliant match for a wide range of cuisine, but if you want to design a meal around it - start with a deli meat antipasto, move onto pan seared duck and finish with a strawberry tart - Black Reef Blush will go with you all the way!
