- Supple Bordeaux Red delivers great value!
- Six generation of winemaking know- how, yep they know how to make great wine with their latest creation being know exception.
- Henri Guinabert takes the helm at the Chateau producing a supple red Bordeaux full of red fruits and nutty wood characters perfect with game and roast meats.
- Case of 6 ($21.90/bottle)
Six generations of know-how. The Guinabert family at Chateau Villefranche have been tending the vines in their Bordeaux vineyard since the 17th Century. I think that's just enough time to get to know the soil. In fact the Villefranche Chateau is one of the original vineyards in Graves appellation and within the Sauternes region. After centuries of making stunning Sauternes stickys the Henri Guinabert tried is hand a delicious red blend after finding some grapes near the Ciron stream. Henri crafted up a Merlot/ Cabernets blend that delivers supple red berry fruits wrapped with a woody structure. Who said Bordeaux's had to be expensive - you'll find great value in this AOC Graves red wine at just over $20.
