FRAMMRLSBL

Framingham Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Marlborough, New Zealand
  • A Sauvy with personality and attitude
  • Framingham’s Sauvignon Blanc steps out from the crowd by crafting individuality into this memorable wine via a collage of many small parcels
  • The 2019 has plenty of attitude and zest to captivate your tastebuds with a full spectrum of punchy flavours, delectable textures and distinct characters. As always there is the classic Framingham Wines signature character of a stony mineral edge together.
  • Case of 6 ($25.90/bottle)
The team at Framingham follow the simple philosophy of making wine that they love. In the 2019 edition of their well known Sauvy they have captivated the tangy zest of the grape and coupled it with ripe quava and passionfruit. White aromatics are Framingham’s specialty styles, crafting individuality into these tasty little numbers via small batch winemaking. This involves making and then blending 16 small parcels from across the Wairau Valley vineyards bringing together a collage of flavours, textures, and styles. Always unique, with plenty of individuality, and never mainstream! The delectable texture comes via some of the parcels barrel time, and all promote great acidity with a stony mineral finish. Designed and is indeed stunning with oysters, other seafood and salads.

Main Divide Chardonnay 2022

Main Divide Chardonnay 2022

Waipara, New Zealand
  • A second label with first flavours providing outstanding value
  • From the Waipara stable of Pegasus Bay, the Main Divide label that has enough attention grabbing characteristics as the mountain range it’s named after.
  • Citrus and mineral acid flavours are dominant, as soon as you experience this wine, subsiding to the softer fruits of melon and peach after the wine mellows in your mouth. Evidence of the 18 months spent in old oak appears as buttered toast characteristics. But it is the backbone of mineral acid that defines this wine showing some serious hang time in the mouth. Ultimately this is a great value Chardonnay with great flavour complexity perfect to accompany dishes, like an apricot chicken or prawn salad.
