Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Marlborough, New Zealand
  • Discover perfection within!
  • Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc is crafted by inspiration from the natural balance of proportion from the perfect mathematical spiral found in the Nautilus shell
  • While we on the conversation of perfection try the wineries suggested pairing of seared salmon on on piquant garlic skordalia?
  • Case of 6 ($24.90/bottle)
Nautilus is well into its third decade of making wine guided by the perfect mathematical spiral found in the Nautilus shell. This natural balance of proportion inspires the Nautilus team to (as they put it) "discover the perfection within". Something winemaker Clive strives for each vintage by keeping the team small and coming from a all hands on deck approach. With Sauvignon Blanc being their oldest and most predominant variety the Nautilus team have done all the mathematical calculations to solve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc equation. The Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc does well covering all the usual Marlborough characters while adding mouth-watering complexity and food friendly texture. Stuck for meal ideas grab a bottle of Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc and pop on the plate a seared salmon or maybe some chilli and lime dressed oysters.

Main Divide Chardonnay 2023

Main Divide Chardonnay 2023

Waipara, New Zealand
  • A second label with first flavours providing outstanding value
  • From the Waipara stable of Pegasus Bay, the Main Divide label that has enough attention grabbing characteristics as the mountain range it’s named after.
  • Citrus and mineral acid flavours are dominant, as soon as you experience this wine, subsiding to the softer fruits of melon and peach after the wine mellows in your mouth. Evidence of the 18 months spent in old oak appears as buttered toast characteristics. But it is the backbone of mineral acid that defines this wine showing some serious hang time in the mouth. Ultimately this is a great value Chardonnay with great flavour complexity perfect to accompany dishes, like an apricot chicken or prawn salad.
