Central Otago, New Zealand
- No it’s not a MOA, it is a Central Otago Chardy!
- A rare grape variety in this neck of the woods, but Carrick create a stunning chardonnay with Chablis like flavour.
- Carrick’s (winemaker Rosie has done an outstanding job balancing the characters of this wine. The interwoven flavours of mouth-watering citrus with crisp acidity and rich minerality with unctuous sweet almond cream are well linked in perfect harmony just like the ‘Carrick Bend Knot’ that represents the company.
- Case of 6 ($30.90/bottle)

Ok, that quite wasn't what Romeo said, but it will be what your saying once you've tasted Two Rivers awarding winning 'Juliet' Riesling. The Two Rivers team always new of the seductive ways of Juliet - the Riesling. The way she coats your mouth with lemon honey and citrus marmalade balanced against against flinty acidity is what makes coming back for more. Juliet's balancing act also comes into play when you hear its a off dry/medium Riesling as you never would of guessed she is a little sweety at 27.5g/L of residual sugar.
Juliet has been in bottle for a few months but here is what her balanced seductive ways have already managed to do;
Evoking this from the judges at the NZIWS, "Evocatively scented, hinting of apple and rose spice, with an exciting vibrancy to the zingy taste. It’s flinty and slatey with spiced apple and lime and a delightful shimmer of sweetness to the mouthwatering finish."
