Barton & Guestier Cuvée Rambaud Bordeaux pays tribute to Germain Rambaud, Thomas Barton’s first cellar master all those years ago (250 to be precise) As a fantastic example of a great value Bordeaux wine this red is joint venture between grapes of 60% Merlot & 40% Cabernet Sauvignon Fruit driven with red and black berries (redcurrant, cherry, and blackcurrant) combined with spicy and minty notes.Good balance with round and velvety tannins and a long fruity and spicy finish. Red meat, pâté, cheese work well with this Bordeaux.
