Drawing from Gibbston Valley's most intriguing vineyards, the Single Vineyard range gives full voice to site. Le Maitre is grown from mature vines, planted by Alan Brady in the early 1980's. It is a low production wine made from this historic dry farmed, organic vineyard.

From the seaside home block of the Te Awanga vineyard Tim and Clearview team craft a rich dense Merlot. For those keen followers of this wine you will spot a slight change in the label championing the Merlot variety above the others. Don’t despair lovers of the blend there is still a wee bit of Malbec in there – 14% worth. Cape Kidnappers Merlot promises to push your mouth out with plums and blackberries thanks to slightly cooler ferment. The Clearview clairvoyants can see this wine drinking well for another 8 years but we can tell you it’s yummy right now, especially when paired with grilled lamb steaks or Clearview’s own food match – Kumara Gnocchi.
