With little oak influence Kumeu Village Chardonnay lets the fruit do the hard hitting to your senses
The stonefruit flavours work well with a wide range of pasta and chicken dishes, this wine is a star with alongside your favourite shellfish.
Case of 6 ($21.90/bottle)
From the iconic Kumeu River Estate, Kumeu Village may be their second label but it sure does pack a fruitbowl punch. The village chardonnay is a bit different to the usual heavy hitters from this winery, but that's not say it won't bowl you over with it's abundance of stonefruit flavours touched with flinty mineral edges. To keep things interesting for your senses the Village chardy is fermented with 100% wild yeast and 100% malo-lactic fermentation. Although its good to go with the usuals like Risotto, Pasta or chicken it's super impressive with shellfish
This sensational Syrah from Craggy Range delivers the hype of the Gimblett Gravels winegrowing and then-some gaining 90+ points from all the critics who experience it.
Good for ten years under wraps it will love the company of a herb encrusted lamb rack or vension tenderloin, once you open it up.
