- Maude Pinot Noir 2019 brings to table a dark fruited pinot layered with flavours of high % cocoa chocolate and dried herbs. The fruit, chocolate bitterness and velvety tannins delivers a luxurious wine experience. It’s the wine equivalent of black forest chocolate and lends its flavours remarkably well to a venison pie or roast lamb.

With the ability to blend the Pinot out of 26 different parcels from four of Central’s sub-regions, Maude’s Pinot Noir represents the Central Otago’s outstanding ability to grow the fickle grape. Help along by the extraordinary award winning team of Sarah Kate and Dan Dineen. They have created yet again created a stunning Pinot from the base of Mt Maude Using time as an important crafting element of this wine production it sat extracting colour and tannin for a month, before the long rest of 18 months in barrel. The resultant Pinot delivers luxury to your tastebuds with complex flavours of black fruits chocolate and dried herbs. A Pinot to enjoy, while tucking into a vension pie in front of a roaring fire in a snow covered lodge…..failing the lodge, your place with good food and great company.
