Dry, Dry and Dryer – as you would expect this Riesling is made a dry style from the dry hills of Marlborough out of the winery of Lawson’s Dry hills
LDH Riesling is produced with a gold and trophy winning pedigree behind it by a winery who excels in aromatic varietals
The 2017 LDH Riesling combines over 3 decades of winegrowing experience by LDH to produce flavours of crisp Royal Gala apples, refreshing lemon-lime citrus and textural chalky honey
Case of 6 ($21.90/bottle)
The good keen man of the late great Ross Lawson set the foundations of this classic dry Reisling. This developing wine will give a Riesling experience to cater for the dry stylists. Intense aromatics are immediate when you hover over the glass. Characteristics of lemon, limes, and perfumed florals are joined by whiffs of stonefruit and honey. The palate gives indications of future evolution in the bottle but starts with young flavours of fresh crisp Royal Gala apples with refreshing citrus complemented by a texture of fine chalky honey.
Unlike Bo and Luke Duke this is one Boss Hogg you want to keep running into. Sourced from three of South Australia's best Shiraz growing regions then combined to generate a full bodied juicy Shiraz.
Fermenting in big 300l barrels for flavour - i'll give you one guess what the name of those barrels are?
