Oodles character - tasting as though its a Pinot of twice the price.
Tom’s Block is a handsome drop that will flirt with your taste buds, proving yet again Neudorf’s status of being one NZ’s top producers.
It all starts with warm assortment of red summer fruits – plums, blackberries, and dark cherries. Subtle tannins then enter the picture with rustic herbs, mocha and savoury characters. Tom’s Block is an incredibly enjoyable experience on its own, but its flavours are great with the roasted cuisine of duck, or turkey.
Case of 6 ($37.90/bottle)
Ever since its label creation in 2007 Tom’s Block has continually brought the ‘WOW’ factor to Nelson Pinot’s. The assertive and flirtatious flavours of Tom’s Block, delivers a Pinot Noir experience of twice the price. After a year barrel the separate vineyard parcels are blended into one – Tom’s Block and are bottled ‘oh naturale’ without any fining or filtering. The 2016 Tom’s Block oodles with character and upholds the expectation of being another stunning Neudorf wine. It all starts with warm assortment of red summer fruits – plums, blackberries, and dark cherries. Subtle tannins then enter the picture with rustic herbs, mocha and savoury characters.
Barton & Guestier have been making Bordeaux for a wee while....almost 300 years, so they have a fair idea of how to make a good one - and it shows with Cuvee Rambaud
Named after their first Cellar Master Germain Rambaud who first created this wine (or a version of it) way back in 1755!
