Plateau Block 17 has done just that, receiving the not only the Gold medal at the 2018 Royal Easter Show but the Trophy as well. Saint Clair have taken their trophy winning expertise to the Hawke's Bay with the Merlot vines Block 17 that sits within the Gimblett Gravels. Low cropping and a year in old/new oak has delivered a trophy winning full bodied beauty. Flavours of black Doris plums, blackberries and silky spiced chocolate will lure your tastebuds in hold them for a lengthy savoury finish. An experience not to be missed!
