Traveling across NZ to source each regions character the Thornbury Merlot has predominantly come from the Gimblett Gravels region in Wine Country Hawke's Bay. The GG's have expressed themselves in this enjoyable Merlot as a bowl full of berries and chocolate with glimpses of smoky oak. As Dionysus would say NOSTIMOS!
