The Thornbury range are crafted as premium easy going drops designed to celebrate life and to represent the grape of choice in each of our iconic wine regions. Charged with this task is the innovative and intrepid winemaker Si Fell. Traveling across NZ to source each regions character the Thornbury Merlot has predominantly come from the Gimblett Gravels region in Wine Country Hawke's Bay. The GG's have expressed themselves in this enjoyable Merlot as a bowl full of berries and chocolate with glimpses of smoky oak. As Dionysus would say NOSTIMOS!
