After over 40 years in the industry the team at LDH really know their stuff when it comes to vineyard sites in Marlborough. Crafted from a single vineyard near the Wairau Valley seaside, this style of Chardonnay was selected to best suit the grapes grown from this seaward vineyard. Naturally high in mineral acidity from the soil the wine is tamed and layered by the soft creamy textures of malolactic fermentation and lees stirring. In the finish Marcus and the team at LDH have bottled a wine that is not only full to the brim of stonefruit and ctirus flavours but also one that has harnessed that good dollop of acidity with a soft creamy finish.
