Case of 6 ($25.90/bottle)
The team at Framingham follow the simple philosophy of making wine that they love. In the 2019 edition of their well known Sauvy they have captivated the tangy zest of the grape and coupled it with ripe quava and passionfruit. White aromatics are Framingham’s specialty styles, crafting individuality into these tasty little numbers via small batch winemaking. This involves making and then blending 16 small parcels from across the Wairau Valley vineyards bringing together a collage of flavours, textures, and styles. Always unique, with plenty of individuality, and never mainstream! The delectable texture comes via some of the parcels barrel time, and all promote great acidity with a stony mineral finish. Designed and is indeed stunning with oysters, other seafood and salads.
This sensational Syrah from Craggy Range delivers the hype of the Gimblett Gravels winegrowing and then-some gaining 90+ points from all the critics who experience it.
Good for ten years under wraps it will love the company of a herb encrusted lamb rack or vension tenderloin, once you open it up.
