Grapes were grown in the Southern Valleys, a premium Chardonnay subregion. After pressing juice was sent to barrel and tank for fermentation, with selected yeast strains, 35% of the blend was fermented in aged French oak. A portion of the ferment completed malolactic fermentation, to add texture and subtle creaminess.
Our chardonnay has a classic golden shimmer and aromas of juicy nectarine and honeydew melon. Rich and luscious in flavour with a subtle oak influence, each sip is fresh and delicately balanced. A great pairing with Poached Salmon and Caper butter sauce or a hearty Chicken and Leek pie.
