Fashioned from grapes grown to some of France's most exquisite winegrowing districts, Cuvée Veuve du Verney has been awarded many accolades and medals throughout it's illustrious history. A fine bead and persistent mousse. Tres French and lively on the nose, bouquets of good dry crunchy fruit with characters of supple spice, apples and subdued cinnamon, peachy elements and sweet smelling clovey punch. Straight onto the palate with crisp apple and nectarine flavours, heightened profiles of rich cashew and toasty, yeasty brioche, simple almond characters with complexities of mint, confectioned citrus and vanilla.

Dow's Fine Tawny is a three-year-old blend aged in small oak casks at our lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia. The barrel ageing produces a smoother and lighter style of wine than the Dow's Ruby which is aged primarily in large oak vats and tonels. Dow's Tawny combines subtle fruit with delicious velvety nutty flavours derived from the cask ageing. It is ready to drink and enjoy when bottled and does not require further ageing.

Dow's Fine White is made primarily at our Quinta do Sol winery. Only traditional white grape varieties from the Douro valley are used. Dow's Fine White ages mainly in wood, gaining a rich golden colour and an intense rich nutty aromatic complexity. A certain amount of wine is not wood-aged and is blended in to add freshness and fruit character. On the palate, balanced and smooth, with excellent acidity and a long finish.

The grapes used in the production of Dow's Fine Ruby were a blend of traditional Portuguese varieties from the Douro Valley, such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Co. Dow's Fine Ruby was aged in seasoned oak casks at our lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia for an average of 3 years, and bottled when ready to drink. Exuberant youthful fruit flavours make it perfect for informal drinking.

Dow's old Tawnies are well known for their remarkable raisiny, dried fruit flavours, exquisite creamy texture and an exceptionally long, lingering and traditionally drier finish. This 10 Year Old Port is smooth, well balanced and mature and is ready for drinking now. Dow's 10 Years Old Tawny has a bright tawny colour. On the nose brimming with aromas of candied fruit and toffee, beautifully combined with some mature ripe fruit. On the palate vibrant nutty flavours, perfect balance and with a lovely long finish.

Dow's Twenty Years Old Tawny is the perfectly balanced tawny. The delicate flavours acquired through long ageing combine perfectly with the rich and subtle mature fruit. Light amber and tawny colour, showing mature raisiny fruit aromas with hints of honey and caramel. Dow's Twenty Years Old Tawny has a rich and nutty palate, with wonderful balance. A clean crisp finish and a soft lingering aftertaste make this an unforgettable Port on any occasion.

Graham’s 10 Years Old is made from wines of the very highest quality which are matured in seasoned oak casks of 534 litres until their peak of maturity is reached. These are among the most demanding and challenging styles of Port to produce requiring great skill and years of experience from the winemaker and blender. It is essential to strike the correct balance between the delicacy and elegance which results from prolonged cask ageing while retaining the fruit quality which lends this old Tawny its structure and longevity. This wine is fine deep tawny colour, with complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. On the palate, rich mature fruit flavours, beautifully mellowed and a luscious long finish. Taste slightly chilled to appreciate the full complexity and sensuous pleasure of this wine.

Golden amber with a pale green tinge at the rim which denotes great quality and class. Very complex on the nose with a powerful fragrance that belies its age. The palate is a gamut of flavours, ranging from delicate fruit and raisins to burnt toffee and chocolate. The persistent aftertaste is sheer pleasure.

High altitude Bendigo site growing Pinot Noir with small bunches, high intensity and coating minerality. Typically deeply-coloured and alluring , the wine shows dark fruit, anise, and mocha aromatics. The palate is sweetly layered with delicate generosity on the front giving way to an intensely structured mid. Firm, yet suavely sculpted back tannins lead the long, sustained finish. The School House Pinot Noir will benefit from five years bottle age, and will comfortably last ten.

The name MiruMiru translates to mean 'bubbles' in Maori. This sparkling wine was made by employing the traditional Methode Champenoise techniques and varieties - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. The Pinot Noir's dominance provides the structure; the Meunier provides the roundness and the Chardonnay delicate elegance. The resultant sparkling wine is full with a crisp acidity balanced well on the palate by rich fig, ripe stone fruit and cashew/biscuity flavours.
